Gaining popularity on the heels of their second full length LP, “Lowcountry”, Greenville, SC band Andy Lehman & The Night Moves are beginning to make waves in the southeastern United States. Critically acclaimed entertainment blog Babysue says “We just love it when a band or artist seemingly comes from nowhere and hits a home run here.…the melodies are light years better than normal. Lehman’s songs feature wonderfully flowing melodies and harmonies that are absolutely pitch perfect. Eleven tracks here…and there’s not a clunker in the bunch"
Formed in 2007, Andy Lehman & The Night Moves are building their fan base with great songs, explosive live shows, top notch record production, and complete dedication to their fans and their craft. “We want our fans to experience that we are experiencing our music every time they come to see us” says Lehman. “We are so blessed to have an audience that wants to come out to hear us, and we are staggered at the response we’re getting from our new record Lowcountry."
The bands brand new record “Lowcountry” is a throwback to the days of full length conceptual LP’s. It’s one continuous thought from start to finish in the context of a story. “Lowcountry is a storytelling album”, says Lehman. “I wanted each song to be able to stand on its own in the playlist generation, but I also wanted to make an album like albums used to be made. Complete.”
The bands new record was recorded in Atlanta, GA, with veteran producer Rick Beato (Needtobreathe, Shinedown, Jump Little Children) in the winter of 2009. It has since been released on iTunes, Amazon, and local record stores.
