Gaining popularity on the heels of their second full length LP, Greenville, SC band Andy Lehman & The Night Moves are beginning to make waves with their new album "Lowcountry". The bands' newest release on Ten Star Records, is grabbing the attention of lots of people in their hometown of Greenville, SC and the surrounding areas, and the band is only fanning the flame with their incredibly high energy live show.

Formed in 2007, Andy Lehman & The Night Moves are building their fan base with great songs, explosive live shows, top notch record production, and complete dedication to their fans and their craft. "We want our fans to experience that we are experiencing our music every time they come to see us" says Lehman. "We are so blessed to have an audience that wants to come out to hear us, and we are staggered at the response we?re getting from our new record Lowcountry."

The bands brand new record "Lowcountry" is a throwback to the days of full length conceptual LP's. It's one continuous thought from start to finish in the context of a story. "Lowcountry is a storytelling album", says Lehman. "I wanted each song to be able to stand on its own in the playlist generation, but I also wanted to make an album like albums used to be made. Complete."

The bands new record was recorded in Atlanta, GA, with veteran producer Rick Beato (Needtobreathe, Shinedown, Jump Little Children) in the winter of 2009. It has since been released on iTunes, Amazon, and local record stores on Ten Star Records. The band is also giving away three songs off of Lowcountry for download at their website, www.andylehman.com.

REVIEWS FOR LOWCOUNTRY

AIR & SEA BATTLE

"Sumptuous, melodic, well composed, earnestly written. Albums of this quality from a young band make it plainly obvious that these guys benefit greatly from a range of favorable influences. In Lowcountry, Lehman and his cohorts take a style of music that seems destined to be derivative and reinvent it into a fresh sound in all 11 tracks - no small feat."

BABYSUE

"The melodies are light years better than normal. Lehman's songs feature wonderfully flowing melodies and harmonies that are absolutely pitch perfect. Eleven tracks here...and there's not a clunker in the bunch."

ROCKNROLLREPORT.COM

"The unique voice will grab you first, then the intriguing chord progressions, and then the story will hit you. Lowcountry is an intelligent concept album depicting a lover's triangle gone wrong, but each song stands on its own as a beautifully crafted pop rocker."

WHEN THE GRAMOPHONE RINGS

"The opening quintet is a joy. Opener Ally Went Back delivers a strong introduction to the record's lush production as well as Lehman's soaring vocals. It is the young man's lungs that often give these songs their moments of purest beauty - never more obvious than on the woozy, stripped back An Arrow Flew."

ABSOLUTE POWERPOP

"Lowcountry is a loose concept album done with a light touch, allowing the songs to stand on their own. A rewarding listen."

POWERPOPAHOLIC

"...brilliant pop longing, I've not heard since George Michael... An excellent single is the emotional "An Arrow Flew" where the strings build to an exuberant chorus."

THE SILVER TONGUE

"Much like a movie... This tale of love and fear, jealousy and despair progresses throughout the album."
